I have a new record from Climbers for you today. We had planned this release before the tragic death of Kiko Deal and after discussing with his family, Jay Blakk would very much like to see the record come out so here it is.
At the height of the deep house revival back in 2012, Climbers’ “Equal Responsibility” was never off my stereo. That and “Hypnotic Vision” had such a gentle, mesmerising feel to them, how could you not love them? Recently “Big City Lights” from their EP on Selador showed that they had managed to bring that touch forward into 2016 with ease.
The two tracks of theirs I have for you today are definitely on the deeper tip with “Feel Good” delivering pure slow motion sunshine grooves and “Make Love” offering a live sounding deep house jam.
buy @ BEATPORT or @ TRAXSOURCE
To bring both of these lovely songs on to the dance floor I have taken “Feel Good” and given it an elongated workout that hopefully fits between Sasha’ deep progressive and Dennis Cruz’s late-night tech. It is available exclusively @ BEATPORT
With “Make Love” I thought that vocal would work best over a classic house groove and so if you liked my Alaia & Gallo remix, you have more in that vein here. You can buy that mix exclusively @ TRAXSOURCE
