The latest Glasgow Underground release is by Iberian super DJ Wally Lopez collaborating with Terminal M regular Hunzed and it is called “Sa Caleta”. Those of you who spend a healthy (or unhealthy!) amount of time on the White Isle will know that it references the wonderful beach / restaurant near Playa d’en Bossa. And musically it is what you’d expect; dancing Rhodes and vibes blended with gliding synths and organic percussion – the perfect soundtrack for when there’s fun and sunshine and the drinks are free.
That’s all very well I hear you say but it’s absolutely peeing it down outside! WTF can I do with this in December? Not much (unless you are in Australia) I agree. However the main reason for this email is the fact I have an absolutely STUNNING remix from Paul Ursin (who you might no from his killer releases on Noir, NM2 and Stereo). If you like your tech deep and heavy then this slow burning bomb is just what you will need for the weekend.
Check it out, alongside the funky remix from The Deepshakerz and a piece of melodic electronica from Wally & Hunzed here.
