The Camelphat guys are absolutely killing it right now. “It Is What It Is” is a brilliantly uncomplicated club track. Like “French Kiss” or SIL’s “Windows” from the 90s or Gorge’s “Tayo” or “Rollox” by Adriatique from now, this is a gold-plated DJ weapon. For those looking for something a bit sassier, “No One Hears You” delivers a half-time-Superbowl of a track with loopy keys and bouncing bass. Lastly “The Quad” is the kind of simple-but-beautiful piano anthem that’s perfect if you’re in a simple-but-off-your-face kind of mood.
