Our first release of 2015 comes via our German friends Piemont. Weve been a big fan of their releases on Exploited, Toolroom, Kraftek and Monika Kruses Terminal M imprint so were very happy to have them on board. The thing we love most about Piemonts tracks is that whilst they jam their tracks with oh-so-catchy hooks they never lose sight of the dancefloor.
High Top is the perfect example of this. The cleverly used hip-hop vocals and brilliant synth hook deliver all you need on top while a big-ass bassline and chunky house beat make sure your feet dont stop moving throughout.
Next up and for those that have been enjoying our more recent, tougher releases, we have a remix from Sabb, a producer most will know from his releases on Moon Harbour, Saved & Noir Music or his remixes for Sasha, Hot Since 82 or Roger Sanchez. Here he delivers a typically heavyweight tech-edged groove taking Piemonts killer synth hook and stretching out over a undeniably bumping, system shaking beat – one for the small, dark sweatboxes out there.
Lastly, Like That is another elegant example of Piemonts production credentials. Like a classic Deep Dish record, this is warm and hypnotic house music at its finest.
